Tony - How did you pick this one? Illuminate me. I do feel that it is a rich choice: as an academic journal it is decidedly open to all forms of film, all genres. It frequently seems to spotlight work that most academic journals over look - exploitation films, Hong Kong action cinema, experimental work.
What do you make of all this mix? When you comment on the journal, I'd talk about the kind of films and media written in addition to the content of the individual articles.
